NOAA began measuring temperature data in January of 2005 in the newly constructed US Climate Reference Network (USCRN). This was built to provide pristine temperature measuring stations not influenced by the &#8220;Urban Heat-Island Effect.&#8221;Nor has the data in any way been altered in order to fit pre-conceived ideas of what SHOULD be happening.<\/p>\n<p>Do you see any need for alarm here? If it actually was \u201chottest year ever\u201d you\u2019d think all the terrible calamities that are supposed to happen would be happening now but instead the opposite is happening.<\/p>\n<p>1. Record Ice<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 there was record sea ice in Antarctica in fact a global warming expedition got stuck in it. Arctic sea ice has also made a nice comeback in 2014. The Great lakes had record ice Lake Superior only had 3 ice free months in 2014. You\u2019d think that in the hottest year ever that ice would be melting like Al Gore said.<\/p>\n<p>2. Record Snow<br \/>\n2014 saw record snowfall in many areas, remember when they said that global warming would cause snow to disappear and children won\u2019t know what snow is.<\/p>\n<p>3. Record Cold<br \/>\nIn 2014 we saw all kinds of cold records remember the Polar Vortex? You\u2019d think that we\u2019d be breaking all kinds of heat records in \u201cthe hottest year ever\u201d<\/p>\n<p>4. Oceans Are Rising Much Less Than Predicted<br \/>\nAl Gore predicted that oceans would rise 20 feet by 2000, it looks like were on track for about a foot. 80% of the tide gauges show less rise than the official \u201cglobal average\u201d. Many tide gauges show no rise in sea level, and almost none show any acceleration over the past 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>5. Polar Bears Are Thriving<br \/>\nYou\u2019d think that Polar Bears would really be in trouble in 2014 \u201cthe hottest year ever\u201d but they are thriving.<\/p>\n<p>6. Moose Are Making A Comeback<br \/>\nA few years ago the moose population in Minnesota dropped rapidly and they immediately blamed global warming, then they did a study and found out it was actually wolves that were killing the moose. Wolves have been taken off the endangered species list and are now endangering other species so they opened a wolf hunting season in Minnesota and the moose are coming back. It turns out it had nothing to do with global warming in fact the years when the moose population declined were some very cold ones.<\/p>\n<p>7. 99% of Scientists don\u2019t believe in Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming.<br \/>\nYou\u2019ve probably heard over and over that 99% of scientist believe in global warming well the opposite is true. That talking point came from a study where only 75 scientists said they believe in global warming on the other hand over 31,000 scientists have signed a petition saying they don\u2019t believe in Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming.<\/p>\n<p>8. Nature produces much more CO2 than man<br \/>\nIn 2014 NASA finally launched a satellite that measures CO2 levels around the globe. They assumed that most of the CO2 would be coming from the industrialized northern hemisphere but much to their surprise it was coming from the rainforests in South America, Africa and China.<\/p>\n<p>9. It Isn\u2019t Actually the Warmest Year.<br \/>\nIf you look at the satellite data 2014 was not the warmest year ever in fact there has been no global warming for over 18 years. The Reason they can say it\u2019s the warmest year is because they are using the ground weather station data which is heavily influenced by the Urban Heat Island effect, many of which are near pavement. Even still they had to cherry pick that data to get at the warmest year ever and it is only the warmest by only two-100ths of a degree within a dataset that has a variability of a half of a degree. The fact they they had to ignore accurate data and fudge sketchy data to push their agenda proves (IMHO) that climate change is a hoax.<\/p>\n<p>10. The Hypocrisy of the Main Players<br \/>\nOne of the main reasons you can tell that global warming is a hoax is that the main purveyors of global warming live lifestyles opposite of what they preach, they all own multiple large homes and yachts and they fly around the world in private jets pushing their propaganda. Not to mention some people such as Al Gore actually profit from Carbon Taxes and other green energy laws. He actually predicted that end-of-days flooding would force folks to hitch their boats to the Washington Monument. Thirty years later, we&#8217;re still on terra firma.<\/p>\n<p>The next year, actress Meryl Streep hosted a 10-part PBS documentary series called &#8220;Race to Save the Planet&#8221; and predicted: &#8220;By the year 2000, that&#8217;s less than 10 years away, the Earth&#8217;s climate will be warmer than it&#8217;s been in over 100,000 years. If we don&#8217;t do something, there will be enormous calamities in a very short time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t true, and it never mattered, because doom is apparently always 10 years away. People didn&#8217;t believe Streep is an actual science expert. She enjoys a higher qualification. She is a movie star, used like a commercial pitchman, the same way George Clooney tells you to drink Nespresso coffee.<\/p>\n<p>A Middle Ground?<br \/>\nHarrison Ford has used his movie star charisma for this cause for years on behalf of a group called Conservation International. As part of this crusade, he told CNN at the summit in Dubai that this isn&#8217;t a left-right issue: &#8220;It&#8217;s not about political ideologies. &#8230; we&#8217;ve been disaggregated into political ideology groups, and we&#8217;ve got to find this middle ground to get things done.&#8221;<br \/>\nTouching but untrue.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see from the laughable details of the &#8220;Green New Deal,&#8221; the left&#8217;s prescriptions are in no way in the middle ground, unless government being mandated to end the scourges of airplane travel and cow flatulence is mainstream.<br \/>\nHarrison Ford gave a speech and pointed the finger at President Trump and &#8220;climate deniers&#8221; in general. True to form, Ford muttered, &#8220;In 10 years, it may be too late.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are the only member of the animal kingdom whose behavior, whose hubris can destroy the planet,&#8221; Ford lectured. &#8220;Around the world, elements of leadership \u2014 including in my own country \u2014 to preserve their stake in the status quo, deny or denigrate science. They are on the wrong side of history.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And yet, it&#8217;s history that these people keep denying \u2014 that the ecological scaremongers have been wrong for 50 years.
