Greg Abbott signed the bill November 10, 2023. The law also imposes a $50,000 fine, per violation, against employers who don\u2019t abide by it. In such cases, the Texas attorney general may also file his own charges against violators.<\/p>\n<p>The Texas Supreme Court has already ruled that school districts cannot impose vaccine mandates on their employees.
